CESGA Computational Science Summer School will take place from July 4th to September 30th 2011. This third edition of the Summer School is devoted to graduate students and engineers, researchers and programmers interested in computational science and new tools for scientific calculation or intensive computation.
The following topics on programming, optimization and debugging of sequential and parallel applications will be covered:
Basic Level
Programming in Fortran (05/07-08/07, 09:00 to 14:00 hours)
Programming in C (11/07-15/07, 10:00 to 14:00 hours)
Compilation, execution and optimization of scientific programs (18/07-22/07, 10:00 to 14:00 hours)
Introduction to resolution algorithms of scientific applications (26/07-29/07, 09:00 to 14:00 hours)
Advanced Level
Parallel programming using directives OpenMP (30/08-02/09, 09:00 to 14:00 hours)
Introduction to the programming in MPI (30/08-02/09, 09:00 to 14:00 hours)
Tools of parallel applications development: Debugging and analysis of the performance (12/09-16/09, 10:00 to 14:00 hours)
