Superdome cluster is composed of two HP Integrity Superdome servers with 64 processors Itanium2 at 1,5 Ghz and 6Mbytes of built-in cache in the chip. In all, the system has 384 Gbytes of memory and 4,6 Terabytes for temporal storage or scratch distributed in 128 SCSI disks, as well as 16 disks of 72 Gbytes for the Operating System (1,1 Terabyte). For the user's permanent data, it also has a massive storage cabin EVA- 3000 with FiberChannel technology and double RAID controller with a total of 20 disks in RAID configuration – Total capacity of 5 and 3 Terabytes.
Peak performance is 768 Gglops. Under the Linpack Benchmark obtained a peak performance of 642 Gflops, which ranked 227 in the Top500 list as of November 2003.
